A Culture of Arts and Jazz in Cuba

Join Cubanakoa Foundation for the Jazz Festival! In addition to timing our visit for the festival, we'll also meet and exchange with many other Cuban artists, writers, dancers, and musicians! We'll visit with representatives from the Union of Writers and Artists, The Yoruba Foundation, the Antonio Núñez Jiménez Foundation for Nature and Humanity, Prodanza ballet school, and the Fabrica del Arte art space.

We'll attend private musical performances, check out a cigar factory, head to the the Almacenes Artists’ Fair, and so much more! We'll also go off the beaten path of Havana and explore the historic treasure of Guanabacoa!

Jesus Puerto will join and bring is passion for Cuban gastronomy to this journey. In addition to diving deep into the Afrocuban culture and enjoying superb jazz during Jazz Plaza, we will enjoy farm to fork dining, as well as hands-on cooking classes, croqueta-making classes, and a class in Cuban cocktail making!
